Oceans & Company facilitated the sale of Frankfurt’s Westend Carree to Publity in an off-market transaction. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The landmark building with approx. 31,000 sqm is one of the most prominent buildings in the city’s Westend and has an impressively diverse mix of renowned national and international tenants which include the Max Planck Institute, Natixis, Emirates and Michael Page.The property is 91% let and the average unexpired lease term (WALT) is around 4 years.
Westend Carree, which was repositioned by Tishman Speyer in 2010, has a striking glass and natural stone façade, flexible office space and is located in Grüneburgweg, a very central office location with excellent transport connections.
Oceans & Company has successfully advised on the sale of the asset three times since 2015. In the sale to Publity, the Investment Advisory Team initiated and brokered the sale, while the Real Estate Finance Team acted as advisor in the brokerage of the senior loan.
