​A long-term professional relationship has come to an end following the extensive strategic management of the KÖ-Campus Business Park by Oceans & Company on behalf of investment management firm CILON GmbH, culminating in its successful sale.
With two years of asset management activity and nine months of sell-side advisory services, the CILON mandate was a valuable experience, with the result that Oceans & Company are now experts in the Eschborn submarket.

The KÖ-Campus at Kölner Straße 3,9 and 12 in Eschborn in an office complex consisting of three buildings constructed in 1991 and 1992. Together, they offer a total lettable area of approximately 38,000 sqm on 7 floors. Since Oceans & Company began its involvement in this project in mid-2016, initially advising CILON on various repositioning and marketing topics, its asset management divisionn has succeeded in letting 30,000 sqm of vacant space. The adoption of a value-added investment strategy, completion of an extensive refurbishment and repositioning ultimately turned the property into a state-of-the-art landmark in Eschborn.

After two years of close collaboration, CILON mandated Oceans & Company exclusively to offer the KÖ-Campus for sale. The KÖ-Campus now epitomises modern design and technical advancement. It changed hands after Oceans & Company successfully guided CILON through an international sale process, culminating in a transaction of approximately €85,000,000. After an extensive bidding process, the global investment management firm Investcorp emerged as the eventual buyer. In addition to Oceans & Company, CILON GmbH also commissioned real estate agency Savills to assist with the sale.
